Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation procedure that minimizes the signs of aging, improves the appearance of acne scars and revitalizes aging skin. The SkinPen II microneedling device creates controlled micro-injuries that stimulate collagen regeneraton with minimal damage to the epidermis. SkinPen II is appropriate for all skin types, including darker skin that is more susceptible to hyperpigmentation. A topical anesthetic is applied prior to a SkinPen II procedure to ensure a comfortable experience for clients.
